Nagarkot Hike

Nagarkot, at 2195m,is a quiet and scenic hilltop about 32 km from Kathmandu. It is a very popular mountain view point. Nagarkot Hike is an exciting tour that offers a distinct experience of exploring the natural beauties that surround Kathmandu. We will be far from the noise of Kathmandu at least at least a couple of days.  We willsee themarvelousscenery of the lush green hills with the Himalayas as the backdrop. The viewsare simply incredible. The hikeis an energizing true exploration into Nepal’s beauty. The Nagarkot hiking trail is easy, but exciting nevertheless. It is a perfect hike for all ages. From Nagarkot, one can see the panorama of the Himalayas ranging from the Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchanjunga in the east including Mt Everest (try to bring some binoculars for the best view of Everest!). The sceneries, as well as the kind and welcoming people of surrounding Newari villages make for an overall amazing experience that is quintessentially Nepal. Itinerary

• Leave Kathmandu around 7:00am
• Drive to Sundarijal and hike to Chisopani (3-4 hr), stay one night at hotel.
• Hike to Nagarkot. (7-8hr).  Enjoy the sunset.
• Drive from Nagarkot to Kathmandu after enjoying the sunrise.
