Nar Phu Valley Trek is a journey into the isolated valleys of Nar and Phu of Manang district, which lies in the Gandaki Zone. It lies in the restricted area of Nepal, so you need to get special trekking permit, which is provided in the cost of the trek.Because it is a restricted zone, international trekkers must go with a licensed guide and trekking must be with a government registered trekking agency.

During the journey, you get the opportunity to explore typical villages like ones in the Tibetan Plateau region. You are exposed to the unique and traditional lifestyle of the villagers, who follow a pastoral lifestyle.  For those who do not want the populated Annapurna Circuit or Annapurna Base Camp treks, but want the views and cultural experience, Nar Phu Valley Trek is perfect. Populated by the Tibetan Buddhists, Nar and Phu are sacred valleys with monasteries, Chhortens, Mani walls and fluttering prayer flags along the trail.  Additionally, you will see incredible rock formations, glaciers, canyons, and forests.

Nar Phu Valley trekking route was used for the trade with Tibet. The trek to Nar Phu Valley connects to the Annapurna circuit trip via Thorong Pass. The trek begins from Syange and lead you continually to the Phu village, which is not only traditional but also unique and worth to explore.  Kangla Pass (5200m) after Naar village and Thorong Pass (5416m) are challenging high passes on the trail. The cultural prosperity has been accompanied by the breathtaking Himalayan panoramas of Annapurna I Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangga Purna,  Glassidom, Tilicho, Chuli east, west and Center and also the surrounding panoramas. The Manang and Muktinath are spiritual centers of both Buddhist and Hindu devotees. From Muktinath, you trek to Jomsom through the windy Kaligandaki Valley and fly to Pokhara.
